Telegram

FlowBridge makes connecting your Voiceflow project to Telegram simple and fast. All you need is the token from @BotFather and you’re ready to go!

To integrate Telegram with your Voiceflow project, you will need to follow the same steps as shown in the quick start section. In short, in the admin panel, you will need to:

  1. Create a Client Company

  2. Create a Voiceflow Project and associate the Voiceflow project to the Client Company

  3. Create a Client Integration and associate the Client Company & Voiceflow Project to the integration

Create your bot on telegram

To create a bot on Telegram, you will need to send a message to the @BotFather account. This is how Telegram creates new bots within their platform. Once you send a message follow the steps to create a new bot account.

Connecting FlowBridge to your Telegram bot

Once your bot is successfully created, you will be provided a bot token. Upon having access to your bot token, you will need to paste it in on the integration configuration section after having selected Telegram as your integration channel.

It is recommended to keep Automatically set up webhook checked, as this will automaitcally set the webhook URL to the correct endpoint for the integration. Without this, you will need to manually set it up using the telegram APIs, or click on the "reset webhook" button on the view integration page after having created the integration.

Group channels

As part of FlowBridge Connect v7, group bot channels are now supported. For more information, check out the Telegram Group Based Bots page

Telegram Specific Functionality

Due to the nature of how open the Telegram platform is, a lot of additional things are possible. One such thing that we've implemented it the Telegram Stars Invoicing capabilities, allowing you to accept and process payments directly within your bot using Telegram stars.
